Early 70s: Attended Parsons School of Design - Graphic Design / Photography Dept.
Worked in Illustration in NYC through the 70s.
1977-80: Lived in Athens, Georgia. Photographed The B52s and worked to get first. NY gigs.
1980: Switched from illustration to Photographic Portraiture full time in New York studio.
1980-83: Started shootings for GQ, ESQUIRE, Andy Warhol's INTERVIEW magazines and ISLAND Magazine (MADONNA’S first Magazine Cover).

1984: Moved to Japan.
2004-05: Moved back to America and Taught at the SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTE, Washington DC.
